About Us
From Ruins to Retreat
In 2013, we began a journey to find a place that offered both natural beauty and the potential for something truly special. That journey led us to Portion 14 of Boveneind Groenfontein—where two long-forgotten settlements rested quietly amid the bushveld.
One of them, a 1942 hunting rondawel rich with character, was thoughtfully restored and now serves as the charming outdoor braai area beside The Farmhouse, blending history with refined comfort. The second, little more than a ruin, became the foundation for what is now The Lodge—a refined yet down-to-earth escape where comfort meets the wild.
Today, we are proud to welcome guests to this secluded retreat. Here, you’ll find elegant simplicity, timeless charm, and the luxury of space, stillness, and soul. Come unwind, explore, and experience the bushveld—reimagined.
